With the risk of jinxing myself i'm gonna post my picks. Play at your own risk
TCU 1st half -7 $100 TCU Game -13 $200
Hate to go against a double digit dog, but looked into it and saw where most of the dogs cover later in the bowl season where the level of play is a lot higher and the teams are better. Tonight i just feel like TCU is the better club. I think NIU is getting hype because of garret wolfe, and im not sold on the fact that he's going to be able to run against the TCU defense. And while i have not seen TCU play, I have seen NIU play on more than one occassion and i'd be suprised if they are able to slow down the TCU offense. I've read where the new QB has the best arm and all that hoopla, but he's a gunslinger, he likes to throw the ball to the other team. The reason for the first half bet, is that TCU likes to jump out quick, i read a stat somewhere that proves this fact but i cannot seem to put my finger on it at the moment.
The public perception i'm not sure if its valid here or not. The line in vegas opened at 13.5 and its currently at 12.5 or 13 now, so it is going down, and the fact that it hasnt moved doesnt necessarily mean that huge money getting brought in on NIU.
I like TCU to jump out early, i like for them to contain wolfe, although wolfe may get his after the issue get out of hand. I also think the new QB will make a mistake or two that TCU will be able to take advantage of. Basically if TCU is as good as they look to be on paper, NIU will not be able to stop them
TCU 44 NIU 23
I do think it'll be high scoring, but holding off due to the teams may come out rusty
GL to all

Oregon +3.5 $50 Oregon +135 $25 to win 33.75
I dunno guys, this is out there. Im going against all the numbers and simply trusting my gut. I know that Oregon has lost 3 straight, I know that BYU has won 9 straight. I know that Oregon is undisplicned and that BYU really takes care of the ball. But it just doesnt add up, all the numbers point to BYU, yet everyone i talk to and everywhere i look everyone is pounding BYU, BUT the line has actually moved down.
Oregon has been a good bowl team, the pac-10 has been a good bowl conference. My gut just tells me that the fact that BYU has only played two teams up a notch in talent, and lost to both BC and Zona. The fact that BYU has a player suspended, a starter in the secondary, makes me question how focused this team is on the bowl game. I've also heard that BYU was disappointed in the fact that they are going back to the same bowl they were at last season.....Everything points to BYU in this game but the line which opened at 5.5 is down to 3 and 3.5, i got the 3.5 without juice so im taking it
I think Oregon wins outright in a close one, so im putting my money where my gut is..... GL

Look gentleman...it may not sound fair that I don't talk much and just read alot, but thta's the way I work it. All I can say to people is take my picks into consideration and FADE me when I'm cold and RIDE me when I'm hot. It's that simple.
The 1st Bowl game I nailed the ATS easily, but lost on the O/U by a few pts because of a huge lack of points by one team. Even with that happening it was close.
Today...Oregon +4 1/2(took it early)...and O62. Let's see what happens tonight.
BTW Pro....Minn +3 1/2 and the O 38.

Well...looks like I did the opposite...I switched my pick at the last minute and Faded Oregon. Simple hedge for me and lost the juice. Close one. I would say I'm 2-0 Ats but that wouldn't be fair since I didn't post my swich befor kickoff , so....1-1 posted plays. I'm leaning towards Rice, but things look a little tuff for me right now in decideing.
Talk to you later and GL.

Ok rough night last night, but thats life
2-2 bowl season +$220
Rice/Troy Over 56 $200
Really like this play, rice is a big over team as 9 of 10 games this season as gone over for the owls. When you take about playing big name opponents like Texas, FSU, UCLA.. Rice averaged 33.6 ppg. They were held under 30 points just twice during that stretch. The Troy D isnt very good, so i expect Rice to score and score a lot.
Troy on the other hand is also capable of putting up points. They were able to score 17 on a very good FSU defense and dropped 20 on GaTech as well. The Rice defense is brutal as well, they average in 100's in most major statisical categories, so even though they do force TOs and get sacks, they give up a lot of big plays.
I think this one goes way over guys, i wouldnt be suprised to see a sure enough shoot-out tonight and this total reach the 70s.

I agree Doc...
Lots of points tonight on a fast track. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see a 38-35 game here.
Good luck.

WoooHoooo....... hedged the bet too with the under in the 2nd half and both cashed, wont take credit for the under.... but a good good feeling. Been getting killed on the backdoor jobs on the hardwood, glad to have a big one go my way in the bowl game
3-2 now, +420
Really this shoulda went way over, a called TD back in the 1st half, then two picks in the endzone, this shoulda been up in the 80s, but a win is a win
